Smile My new ATV

The last 8 road bikes I have rode have been Hondas. Last year I bought a Varadero and put over 15K km on it. I loved the bike, but have never been a fan of the V-twin for that lack of snap that you get when you crack the throttle. So that being said, I found a great deal on a new bike. This one is set up with all of the gear that I was going to purchase for the Dero and the guy made a nice trade, with some cash coming my way. It is a 2004 Triumph Tiger 955i.(love the triples). As you can see it has many, many extras. I can't wait to throw a leg over this in the spring and hit the highways and the trails...

...and I still have my old Fireblade for that all out action.

Cool bike River. 1 of the only 2 Triumphs I ever owned was a 750 Trident. Other was a 650 Trophy. That Trident had a sound all it's own. I imagine with today's tech and 995 cc it's gotta be a handful.

River, that's very nice. What tires are you running and how are they on pavement?

Thanks fellas...Barkle, the tires on there now are Conti TCK80s, they work great off road, but on road they are a little sketchy on wet pavement (and ice, as I found out last week). I ordered a set of Shinko 705s. They have a better tread pattern on the outside edge that allows for more rubber contact in the corners, yet they still have an aggressive lug configuration for gravel and off road. Plus they are alot cheaper

I will keep the Conti's and just stud them up for next winter

15,000km...you need to ride more. I bought a 1000 Vstrom. I love the new adv bike thing. In 3 years I have logged 26,000 miles or so.

triumph is a nice choice.
