Default 4x4 dont work

Ok guys I have Silverbacks on my 650 and was stuck in the mud. I hit reverse and was going backwards in a whole and the frontend popped. My drive shaft, axles didnt break and 4x4 wont work? Could it be whatever engages they front end? Or the differential?

Sounds like you could have a differential issue if you heard a pop noise. Lift the front end and spin a tire, the front wheels should move seperate directions. The rinny has a torsen differential which is great for sporty riding but sucky for some thick mud...(its been so long since I messed with my beast so I'm having issues remembering if the diff stays engaged all the time....) I'm off my game a little lately with the mechanical stuff, and I haven't had any booze yet, so I could be loosing my mind. I'd hang in there until one of these tech savy guru's chime in, or I start hittin the bottle and I start to remember crap again!

Ok ill do that and now it goes in fourwheel drive at any speed. When it was stuck the front tires was off the ground and it spun but when pressure got back on the tires they stopped spinning
