I don't think you'll spank a 700 Grizzly and regardless of how people feel about the belt drive so much can be done with it to add more top end as well as grab and put power down better. Unfortunately our Rinny transmission that is a blessing in someways is also a curse. There is a code for the 700 Grizzly most don't know about that will add very nice gains in performance on a stock model and if its piped and set up right, forget about it, its as mean as the Raptor 700. The deal with a Brute or Outy is there is no replacement for displacement and a V-TWIN motor.
I have the Thumper 702 as well as a Cam ready to drop in myself. I'll call you sometime so we can compare notes! The gains I'm looking for and almost bet will be found, is nice low and mid range improvements with a little more on the top. More can be gained on the top end but You have to find someone from Honda that worked on the Baja Rinny and good luck getting that info? From what Ive seen with the super Big Bore Rincons 802, Strokers Etc. is there set up for pulling and aren't really all that fast or quick compared to other machines in the class.
