Default Ride Royal Blue Pioneer, TN

Has anyone ridden at Royal Blue recently?

How are the accomodations? Trails? Campground?

How much does it cost to ride? 1 day, weekend, week?

Are there gas stations and/or grocery stores close?

What is your overall opinion of the area?

Thanks...

It's been two years since I rode at Royal Blue. I think the permit cost me around $90 for a seven day permit. I keep planning to go back, but something always gets in the way. www.rideroyalblue.com

Thanks guys. We are looking for another place to ride other than Harlan County. Still going there this summer but looking for another place for April.

I rode there 2 and 1/2 years ago in the summer during a heatwave. it was over 100 degrees one day and 98 the other. Other than it being damn hot it was a good place to ride. You had to get a TN hunting license to ride and it was like 30 or 40 dollars for 3 days. They have a direct access to the park. The cabins are your typical cabins but the sir conditioning worked great. there is a lodge that serves meals that was nice. It looked like they were just getting going and still building but it has been a long time. I would go back just not in a heat wave. Tell me if you guys plan to go in April.
