That guy almost met his maker. $18,000 stunt. This Harley rider knew he messed up the second he stood up. Notice when he gets up he's worried about what fell out of his pockets.

There is a point to it alll just like there is a point to just about anything in life. I for one support the XDL and the movement to make Sportbike Stunting a mainstream Xtreme sport. ^^My buddy Josh at a actual sanctioned event. ^^Filming for a video http://www.starboyz.com/ ^^One of if not the first group to start the stunting craze in the USA. Sure they started off by crazy antics on the streets, before taking it to the track, but everyone starts somewhere. You have Craig Jones, Christan Pfiefer,AC FARIAS, Kevin Carmichael from over across the pond that are all mainstream as well. The same one sided comments can be said about what we do with our atv/utv's that they weren't designed for.

Who's Jamersizer?

I, Jameserizer, agree with River, but only to a point. If people want to perfect stunts like wheelies, rocking horses, burnouts, donuts, jumps, stoppies, whatever on their motorcycles, I say go for it...but do it where it's legal to do it, NOT on public roads.

For my birthday several years ago, my wife gave me a set of DVD's from some squidly motorcycle club in the St. Louis area, thinking that I would enjoy it. Unfortunately, not. In fact, it pissed me off so much to watch it that I have never looked at them since (sorry Honey). The videos were of idiot squids out there in their jeans, sneakers, & T-shirts doing high-speed interstate wheelies, burnouts on downtown streets (of course in traffic!), street racing, running from the cops, and generally being about as much of a menace as they possibly could be on two wheels. Of course they finished up with a shirtless comparison of their road rash scars. Nice.

These assholes just give motorcycling a bad name, jack up our insurance rates, and turn the cage-driving public against motorcycles. There is a good reason why 'exhibition driving' citations are generally really heavy duty tickets...major points & fines.

I have nothing against people doing stunts on their motorcycles, if they are responsible and rational about it and do it in an appropriate venue. IMO, it's no different than skateboard tricks at the local skate park, or BMX tricks, jumps, etc, or those motocross guys who jump their bikes 50 feet in the air at the fair every year. Very exciting and those who have real skill at it are a pleasure to watch.

BTW, that Harley rider was an ass...he could have killed or seriously hurt someone.

James for once I agree with you somewhat

I believe it should be on the track or at the very least on a deserted country road/dead end road with nothing around that you can hurt accept for yourself. The Harley rider was an example of the wrong way to stunt.
