mine is under the cowl between the radiator and steering column.

Mine is also under the cowl, i relocated my radiator , so it made easy mounting install. Nice spot!

I put mine under the rear latch for the seat. I cut a piece of aluminum the same size as the base of the switch, drilled 5 holes in it, one in the center and 4 at the corners for the switch. i put a bolt in the center hole and spacers between the switch and the plate. I cut another small plate with one hole in it to go on the top side and mounted the switch upside down. I mounted the wireless remote to the back of the airbox.
