AMEN Big brother is watch all of us and want to tell you when and where you can enjoy yourself for sure. I shudder at the thought that some day we will have to get a couplulation permit to make whoopi with our mates.

WI Department of Justice - Law Enforcement Services

Hold on your good in my state I would have to check the NYS rules to see if I was good there, probably not good since you said I wouldn't be.

Here is a useful tool to help figure out where you can travel and stay legal.

Correct... NY accepts no other states permits, but many other states accepts NY's.

The Canadian long gun registry started about 15 years ago or so requiring ALL gun owners to register hunting rifles and shotguns. Those failing to do so automatically became criminals. Altogether over TWO BILLION DOLLARS was spent on this fiasco. This was brought in by our "Liberal" party when they were the boss, now the "Conservatives" are in power and they scrapped this unpopular law and all records obtained to date are to be scrapped.

This did absolutely nothing to limit crime, not too many hunting rifles are used in holdups. Handguns and assault-type rifles are much rarer in Canada, a lot of red tape to go through to get a permit.

When you outlaw guns only criminals will have guns...

Makes me glad I live where I do! I can walk out and shoot on my back lawn if I want to. The first H&K I was issued at work, back in 2003, was shot once. The brass was in the case with the gun. The newer ones weren't shot, that I am aware of anyways.

Where are you guys reading this about the Canadian change? I looked for the "Non-Resident Firearm Declaration" form I fill out every year on my annual duck/goose hunting trip to Manitoba, and it's still on the Royal Canadian Mounted Police web site.
