Here's a new guys take on this,, I am fairly new to forums, I have belonged to one for a little less than two years for Chargers, and just recently joined this one and one for my Truck as well. These are great spots for giving and taking of information from others who share a common bond/interest/machine. I must say I tend to be more of a taker, but as time is put in on the site, one begins to become a giver as your knowledge and experience with the forum grows. Getting back to the common bond, its the Rincon that brings us together here, its what makes us cut from a common thread, a group of brothers. Like the old saying, Never discuss Church or Politics, I think the lesson is don't open doors to topics that can cause division, focus on that that strengthens and brings all together. I think we should observe that old saying while waving the Rincon flag together,, Brian

I think the problem is people are too sensitive. We need to realize that as Americans its okay to disagree with someone's political or brand views. They gotta turn to insults and personal attacks. Also people just gotta learn to let it go, pick your battles, etc. This is the only non-political forum that discussed politics. Brand discussion ever since I have been here was also different because I have always seen people come here to bash the Honda Rincon including RobG himself. Guess what-the Rincon is still here and still relatively unchanged since 2002 with some minor upgrades Anyway-I digress from politics, Rinconriders.com not withstanding-when did the home of the brave, democracy, land of the free-when did discussing politics become taboo? Seems to me, the only source people get their political information from is the media and its all garbage. That's why we are in political turmoil. (Jeez-I'm beginning to sound like James aren't I Discussing politics should be a healthy topic everywhere but people are pussy's now, too sensitive and to opinionated-that's why we have the current boss in office.

Impeach The US Government!
Why, because it no longer stands for Americans!

Government is not the answer to our problems, government is the problem!

Taxation is the antithesis of freedom.

Totally agree with A6USMC. This forum would be a more enjoyable place to be if politics wasn't involved. Those interested in politics should go to a political forum....just as people with Honda interests go to a Honda forum.

Here is how I look at my request. I have posted in ploitical threads....I can not help myself sometimes, its my OCD personality. But I like to speed and do other things I shouldn't. But society has rules and laws.

So, I rarely speed. I never drink and drive. I may even like to do some other things that I will not post here. But, society's rules protect me from myself and make me a more polite member of society.

And lastly, it really doesn't matter what any single one of us feels is right, it depends on the "groups" opinion and wishes. Then we move on....
