Hypothetical EMP Pulse question

Forgive me if my question is not in the appropriate part of this forum or if it has been answered before. I am new to this forum, but not to forums in general, so feel free to ruffle my feathers all you wish, I am not of a sensitive nature.

Hypothetical Question.

I just purchased a 2004 Rincon, (carbuerated as you all know), if a major EMP pulse were to occur in my vicinity, what if any parts would I have to replace or by pass to get it running again?
What electronic ignition components would/could get fried keeping it from starting?

That's good Brandon, I was wondering why anyone would even care if that happened, because if it did there would be a whole lot more to worry about than your Rincon.

Store electronics that you want to keep in microwaves. That's what i heard today on a talk show. I say just stock up on guns & ammo.

If you have guns and ammo, you can "get" everything else. I read that from a book by Chicken Little....

I hear some backyard doomsday preppers keep spare electronics in a 50 gallon galvanized metal trash can to prevent emp damage. Maybe parking\storing the rincon in one of those un painted metal trailer bins would keep emp from damaging it?
