Surging when starting in gear

Hey gang,
I have a 2011 Rincon. It has started to surge and then stall when I start it in gear. When I start it in neutral it is fine. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site..

So if you start it in neutral, it drives fine no issues, only if you start it in gear it won't run?

Yes, correct! It started doing this in the fall! Starting in gear makes it hesitate and kind of surge. Then it stalls out when I try to throttle threw it. When I start in neutral its good.

Garage
Are you using throttle or burping the throttle, when starting it in gear?

No throttle. It will surge and then eventually stall. If I throttle it stalls faster

Thats a weird one.

I don't have a wiring schematic with me right now, but id like to see where the override switch (Start in gear switch) on the hand brake gets wired to.

I’d wonder about idle air controller, maybe slightly gummed up and not allowing the engine to react fast enough to the drag of the torque converter?
