Can't drain coolant

I drained the coolant from my overflow bottle and then removed the 8 mm bolt to

drain the radiator. The cap was off of the radiator and it only drips a little

bit of coolant from drain hole. I used a small screwdriver to poke in the drain

hole lightly and all I could feel is metal. Any ideas why I can't drain the

coolant?

Are you sure you removed the right bolt?

Yes, it's the right bolt. I saw that picture on the forum before and I have the

shop manual for my 2007 Rincon. I'm not mechanical like a lot of you guys, but

this shouldn't be this hard.

Yup, if I didn't get it figured out from the forum I was going to disconnect the lower radiator hose next. I've had to do that with a car I had.

Mostly I was just real curious why the drain bolt won't work. After all it is a Honda!

Switch to the next bolt going counter clockwise. Your drain bolt is likely clogged

I put the Rincon up on blocks and removed the lower hose. I'm surprised how easy it came off even with the arthritis in my hands.

The coolant was bright green and not dirty. I put Honda premixed coolant back in.

Thanks everybody for you help.

Mine just drips too.

Why would the drain hole be clogged.?

( as in..... what would clog it.??? )

I don’t believe that picture is correct. It’s the bolt beside it I believe
