Rincon 07 Rear Brake Caliper

Hey folks, is there some trick to getting the rear caliper back on over a new set of brake pads? I threaded the piston back in, I had to open the bleeder to do it, but its back in. The caliper slides over the new pads, but the problem is lining up the holes. Like if I get a bolt in one, the other one is 1/4" to 1/2" away from aligning. I put the old pads back on, and you can align the holes fine. You have to compress the spring tensioner that is part of the caliper, but you can do it. With the new pads, it seems like its not compressing or the caliper is touching something somewhere not allowing the holes to line up. The new brakes appear to be the same as the old ones. I got the new pads on Amazon, they are Race Driven pads, model # RD-123SV. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

This is a 2007 Rincon.
