Hey guys I'm new to the site purchased a 2005 rincon and I'm replacing the topend and fixing it back up. My question is it possible to I stall a rubicon front diff and controls on the rincon. I know they now have a selectable locker. And if possible I'd rather not install a fulltime locker.
You would need to confirm gear ratios first, then mounts, then axle length, size and spline count.....the rest is most likely just a switch to turn on or off...... If you learn how to use the front brake for the spinning wheel, you may find no need for the change.
Yeah I'm going to research it. If it is possible it would be a nice upgrade. I dont want a spool. I've tried to find a dgl but I'm having a hard time finding clutch assemblies too. I've found used ones. And it's a pain to order all the separate friction plates.
No I've looked I haven't found any arched a arms.
My tincon is almost together though. Put a new 680 top end and cam on it. Gotta tighten the head and adjust the valve clearance I'll be riding it this weekend. I'm amped for it.
