Well, heck, I can tell you the answer to that one! lol
An air silencer is a "box/canister" type thing on the sides of the intake tube(s). All it does is reduce the sound of the air the engine is sucking in. Also restricts the air flow a little bit.
There are two air silencers on the Rincons intake track. One is a very large one right after where the air first comes in and there is a small one right between the airbox and carburetor. I eliminated that small one. I simply took it out. I then took a peiece of rubber I had that fit perfect in the hole. I put a little silicone sealant around it and slipped it in the hole. I don't really know if it improved it enough to tell, but definitely didn't hurt it. Looks alot better too. Next, I need to eliminate the large one or make my own custom intake tube to the airbox.
