I have been reading on the many riding areas that are available but I have not heard of anyone mentioning South Dakota.
I attend the University in Spearfish, SD.(on the foot of the Black Hills) and there is a great deal of riding in this area. Although there are not many atv designated trails there is miles of fire roads in the Black Hills which are documented by the forest service. Venture off of the designated fire roads and there is a great deal of atv trails that have been made by local people.
I have ridden in MN, Wis. and Michigan and have not seen the number of different conditions available in SD.
I can now ride in the mud, sand, water, and trails all in the same day.
