Hi gang! I just received my DynoJet kit in the mail. Here's a couple questions: If I put the DynoJet kit in, using the stock filter, would I have to re-jet or go through all that carburator stuff all over again once I put a K&N filter on it? Or, should I just wait and put it on all at once? Can anyone tell me where I can get a K&N filter/pre-filter for the best price?

I don't mind telling you all that this is one of the best forums I have had the chance to get on. Even though you don't all agree on every factor, you all have some very good advice. Thanks!!

Put it on NOW! Follow the instructions for jet size, most use the #144 without other mods. The filter will not make much difference, and should not effect the jet choice. UNI makes a highly regarded filter available at rockymountainatv.com under "intake".

I would wait for the filter. You will have to re-jet when you add a high flow filter to get the maximum performance. If you don't mind doing the jetting, go for it.

Rockymountainatv.com has the K&N for $39.99, and outerware for $9.99. Jet kit is $44.99.

Karl I just ordered the Jet kit, outerwears, and K&N air filter from rockymountainatv.com they seem to have the best prices on the net! They shipped the stuff the morning (early morning) after I ordered (i ordered at 8:00PM). So they have quick service. I am crossing my fingers that it will be here friday so saturday me and 03rincon can install it!
