GA Possum Fall Fun and Poker Run

The Georgia ATV Riders Association dba Possum Patrol is proud to invite you to their Fall Fun and Poker Run on September 27th, 2003. We have a day filled with enjoyable, challenging, and safe events lined up and riders of all ages and ability are welcome to join in on the fun. There will be trophies going to the winners of each category and possibly other prizes as well. This is an ATV only event.

Primitive camping is available for Friday and Saturday night and gates will be open on Friday no later than 3 pm. There is no charge for camping.

Start time for events is 9:00 AM on the 27th.


Drag race - by age and/or quad size category
Sort race (bear grass)- by age and/or quad size category
Team relay race
Longer race (trails) - by age and/or quad size category

(Intermission and lunch) There will be concessions at Tabor.

Log pull race
Mud bog - by age and/or quad size category
Timed creek run - if the water ain't too deep
Scavenger hunt and Poker run

Award trophies

Special notes:
All events will be timed by stopwatch and some will have staggered starts so the events do not take too long to complete. However, safety is a priority so no head-to-head competition starts will take place except for the drag race. Helmets are required for race participants.

To pre-register for the ride, sent an e-mail to Rick at [email protected] for a pre-registration sheet and include the sheet with your check for 15 dollars per ATV made out to “Possum Patrol” to:

Or pay 20 per ATV at the gate.

Sign up for the events will take place at Tabor. Please have your pre-registration money in no later than the 24th, so mail it early!!!
