About 3 years ago, I got whizzed off at something, and slammed my '07 Rincon into reverse from drive while still moving forward. From that moment on, I get the "grinding" putting it in R. I have to slam it in, as corndog mentioned in the other thread.

So, there seems to be plenty of mechanics on here. That said, as a best guess from the experts, does that scenario sound like I flubbed up something like a shift fork, or possibly screwed up the linkage ? Orrrr... any other thoughts.

Thx

Ya you'll have to go in.... shift parts, gears with their edges damaged, or bent fork... Yup... inside job. Grab a manual and get er done. Make sure the idle is correct, if it's to high they grind.
