I am shopping for a rear storage box. There are many to choose from but since most are available mail order it is difficult to know how they will look and fit. Is anyone using the rear contoured Kolpin storage box? If so, can you tell me how you like it? Thanks

Hi Craig! I recently purchased a Kimpex Deluxe Rear Storage trunk for my Rincon and I really like it. I looked at the Koplin and some other brand that Walmart sells, but they were not built as well. The Kimpex has plenty of storage room, two locking metal latches, three metals bars along the top that you can use for a mini rack, and some storage in the inside top section. I paid $89.95, which was the best price I found on the internet. Hope this helps!!

I have the Kolpin contoured box. I like it. It's not too big. There is still just enough room to mount a gun boot bracket on the rear rack also.

The Kimpex box fits nicely and has minimal rear hangover (about an inch). The side leave about 1"-2" of tubing showing. I liked that due to the fact I could still use the rack for other purposes. I permanently mounted mine with u-bolts prior to checking out seat removal. The seat does not come off as easily as it once did, but since I don't remove my seat that often, its not a problem. To remove the seat, I unlatch it as normal, raise the rear slightly, and then pull the front back releasing the front "seat ears" (for lack of a better name). To put the seat back on, just reverse the procedure. I'd be happy to send you a photo tomorrow if you'd like. Hope this helps!!

Thanks for the pictures, Karl. If anyone has pictures of the Kolpin box on a Rincon, I would like to compare it to the Kimpex box.
