West Branch, rose city area has a lot of open trails with a good mix of tighter sport trails.... I mostly ride gladwin since it is close to home... But the best riding ever is the trails just south of escanaba. How is cadalac.. and where you ride.....
At the moment, My riding spots are outside of Mi, in NW Pa. Have access to 10's of thousands of acres.

Will be looking for Riding spots in Mi area. Am planning a U.P. vacation around the two weeks around the 4th of July. So far only know the trails as posted by the DNR.

Eager to hear about trails a little closer and some detail on the best U.P. Trails.
ISurvived...Cadillac is has alot of nice trails, not techincal stuff, but fun to ride. Mt. Morris has everything. Its a county owned off road area. It has mud pits, dunes, woods, water, trails, fields, and a few hills. Its a great place for only being a hour away.
I will have to check out Mt Morris...... Sounds cool..... We go blasted with snow last weekend at West Branch... So bad that on the way back we could not climb some of the hills... Pushing to much smow.... Thank god for the winch... Once we get some warm weather I will try the cadillac trails... and wait for spring in Mt Morris...

mrycar, in michigan you can only ride on dnr approved trails or private land....

I'll check that out, im alway up for new places to ride.
I have rode the trails in the Tawas to Sand Lake area and they seem real good and lots of them. In a few weeks (the end of Sept.) a group of 8 from PA are heading up to the UP to ride the Strongs area. That is slightly south of Whitefish Bay. Those are great trails up there! I can"t wait.
Any one ride near southeastern michigan I'm looking for some good spots-trail.s
There aren't any trails in SE MI. Gotta head north. Like the previous post said. Mt.Morris is the closest. It's only about a mile square though. It's a good way to kill the afternoon but you see the same terrain several times. I like to bite the bullet and head a little farther to BullGap trails or even better Leota. Gladwin is always wooped out and pretty populated unless you get there early enough.
check out www.atvoffroad.net

we frequent the mounds, and bullgap and other trails.

bullgap, rose city loops are great, nice trails, some tight, some fast.

the mounds is awesome if you like mud.

check out my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndReAXQBTaE

that was at the mounds. and there is plenty more mud and water where that came from. awesome technical trails, hills, scramble area, water, mud, mud and more mud.
Wolfe lake

We ride Wolfe lake area it's 7 miles north of Baldwin. Great trails, mud holes, 2 tracks, etc. will be there first weekend in nov.
