Hi there I m almost done rebuilding the 650 and it hit me I should of replaced the oil pressure relief valve.
oil pump chain is in the back of timing chain Im hoping there's a chance I can carefully remove oil pump bolts try to keep chain in place and remove pressure relief valve (fingers crossed) if someone has done this before let me know all pull that valve body off and front crankcase cover in a heartbeat.

Thank you

If the chain comes off its not a big deal. There are no alignment points to hit like there are on the timing chain.
If you are that far into it the oil pump chain should be replaced anyhow. It is a wearable item. My chain was stretched a little compared to a new one.
