Is there an online source that I can purchase several of those black plastic body rivets that hold the plastic body panels together on my Rincon? My Rincon is falling apart, with the body panels flapping around and trying to fall off, because several of the rivets that hold the panels together have come out. Thanks.

Go to hondapartsworld.com and search on "pin". You can order 20 of them for $10. They list them as Mudclips.

I just received 20 mudguard clips in the mail on Saturday from hondapartsworld.com.

They were $10 plus free shipping if mailed to a P.O. Box address.

The info on one 10 count bag states: Clip Mudguard / 90653-HC4-900 / Genuine Parts Honda

Ordered late in the afternoon on 1/7/04 and recieved on 1/10/04. But they are in KY and I am in southern IL.

Yeah ,I was missing a couple after the dealer did a warranty repair (unplugged fan). Then I adjusted my valves, and somehow came out with a couple of extras! LOL.

I love having extra parts left over after a repair.

Thanks for the info, I just ordered 20 of the fasteners from hondapartsworld.com

I also need the cover (door) for the storage box, which has also fallen off of my Rincon (like I said, it's falling apart). I found the microfische for the body plastic and front fender parts, but it doesn't show a number for the cover. Any ideas on what I should do a search for to find it easier?

I went to autozone to the "help" center were they have plastic body fasteners and repair stuff. They sell an almost exact duplicate of what Honda uses. The only difference is the center doesn't push in, it has a little plastic phillips head which works a little better. 20 were about $3 and you gotta look close to see the difference. Threw the box away or I would post the part number. Always have a few in my glove box. Also found out that after you pull a few loose it wallers out the hole in the Rinny plastic. So went to autozone again and bought a box of white nylon washers that have the same diameter as the original rivet holes. Put the washers on the back side to keep the rivet from pulling through. If you hook something the plastic washers will give and the rivet will pop through, unlike a metal washer, and no rust.

Take the center out and push the other part into the plastic and then push the center back in, that locks it in place.

Chevy has the exact ones that are used on the rincon. I was gasing up my POS chevy the day before yesterday. I looked down when I put the money sucker into my gas tank and lo and behold there was one that was holding the plastic inside the fuel door. I know know where I can get a spare if I ever need one in a hurry.
