Ok guys I need some information. I want to know how loud the HMF pipe really is with a quiet core in it. Maybe someone can get a sound clip for me? That would be alot of help.

Has anyone compared a HMF to the Powertech 4 yet, power wise?

The FMF Powerline is the other exhaust I am looking into. So far, it looks like not many people have this exhaust. But, does anyone know of someone that has it? How loud is it?

Installed mine this spring. Noise level is quite high even with the quite core. I'm looking at changing the outlet so that it is pointed down. This should help. Make sure that you are not running rich. If you run to rich, you will burn the guts and outlet out of the HMF. I lost my first one within 10 miles on a 135 mile run. Not good. Make sure you order one that has the quite core welded in.

Has anyone put the MBRP exhaust on the Rincon? What changes in jetting do you need to make? I have the 144 in there now.

Ridge, I am guessing it would take either a 146 or 148 with an aftermarket exhaust on. At my elevation anyway, which is under 1000 ft.

I have the MBRP pipe on my rincon and I run a 148 jet. I went on a ride yesterday with Fomocofan and he has a HMF with the quiet core and the sound was fairly equal. The MBRP might sound louder to the rider in back, and the HMF louder to the person to the right of that quad. This is due to the fact that the MPRP exits out the rear and the HMF exits out the right side. All in all they are close as far as the noise level.

Hello All. I am brand new to the forum and wanted to reply that I just ordered the new FMF powerline from global motosports on sale for $219. I have read some good things about this exhaust and that it is very similar to the MBRP. I will re-post when I get it and my jet kit installed.

TexasRincon- I am in Richardson. Maybe we can hookup sometime. I went to Rocky Ridge yesterday afternoon. Got outrun by a 2 day old Rinny by about 4 lengths. Sort of disappointed. Thought mine was running better than that since I jetted it.

Duramax, does the guy weigh less than you? That can make a difference. When I double on my rincon my brother can hang with me on him rubicon with 27" tires...

And some Rincons just plain run better than others. It's very common. But rider weight has some effects also.

Well guys, it looks like I want be getting the FMF after all. The store told me they had them and then I found out it could be a while so I just ordered the MBRP Powertech4. It should be here Wednesday and then I am going to jet it and add the pipe.

I just got beat this weekend by a Polaris 500 HO with a guy that ways more and had heavier equipment (I did have bigger tires though). My rinny is only topping out around 59 or 60(on road) and it takes a while to get there. I think I was actually starting to catch him at top speed but he pulled away from me by a few lengths between takeoff and mid....SUCKED!

Sounds cool about riding, I just bought mine used about 3 weeks ago and haven't even ridden anywhere around Dallas.

Yeah, it did suck....I will of course re-race him after I get my jet kit and exhaust installed later this week. I have a feeling things will be different then.

My kid who weighs about 140 ran my Rincon agianst a fat ass (220+) on a Polaris 700 and absolutely smoked him. Didn't get a chance to see how the Rinny would do with my fat ass on it agianst the POS. I'm sure I would have beat him judging by the trouncing he was dealt by my kid though.
