Would it wear out the wheel bearings?

It could, you want the centerline of the wheel over the bearing, ideally, if possible.

If you can swing it, buy some OEM Honda Rincon wheels. They’re light, strong and the machine handles perfectly with them. Aftermarket rims will stick out farther (the offset is almost always different than the stock rims).
