About how long would it take to change a cam chain tensioner?

A couple of hours if you have the right tools.

This is what I'm replacing, will it still take that long to replace this?

Do I have to take the valve casing off To get the engine TDC?
Can I get the camshaft tensioner replaced without taking the whole thing apart?
The engine doesn't need to be at tdc, you just have to take off what is in the way. Valve cover can stay on.

Ok, thanks
It's pretty easy. All you have to do is be able to access it. Can't remember if the engine needs to be at TDC, but follow the instructions.
There's also a mod on here that you can wind the spring in the tensioner a few revolutions tighter and not even have to change it. Keep the old one.

The CCT mod was an old fix of mine and is still working on my Rincon. Putting a new CCT on takes 10 minutes. Two bolts. The machine doesn’t need to be at TDC.

DO NOT REMOVE THE INSTALLATION KEY UNTIL AFTER YOU INSTALL THE CCT. Save the key for later use.
