can u flip the rincon in 4x4 at any speed as long as the front wheels are spinnin the same speed as the back(i know u can flip in in 4x4 while its pinned in 2x4 in the mud) i always stopped to flip it in 4x4 everywhere

by the way: when i take it out of 4x4 i have to get down to about 2 mph before the light goes off

Here are some previous posts about this issue:


"That is because the green light sensor is in the gear box where it gets its signal to come on. You need to take the preload off the gears for it to come out of four wheel drive. Just like a 4 wheel drive truck. On dry pavement it is hard to get out of 4 wheel drive cause of the preload on the gears."


"According to the mechanic at a dealer here if you are going over 5mph and throw it into 4x4 the light will come on but you are not in 4x4. He said that same thing applies to taking it out of 4x4."
