I use a pair of ***** or side cutters. Just lightly squeeze with the tip while rocking upward & the button pops right up with no damage.

I also keep about 3 or 4 bags of clips on hand too. I'm always ripping'em out and bangin'em up.

Hi guys!

I use to do a lot of bodywork and had to put apart panel inside cars, look into the Snap-on tools book there is a special fork for those clip and it worth all the money they want for it and it work good without damaging the clip.

I use a 1/4" a flat screwdriver to work the center up and the a needlenose plier
to pull out the clip with a rocking motion. Haven't messed any of them up yet.

Try a Tack puller from Home Depot. Sort of a screwdriver handle with a flat fork on the end. About $5.
