hey guys, i am looking for new tires, and i would like some imput....

i ride on trails, with mud, but do not consider myself a "mudder", the tire must preform in the mud, but also on the trail.

i was first looking at the mudlight, probably in the 25 " size so i could keep the speedo correct. but am not adverse to the 26", i would not go bigger than 26....

then i thought, that the radial design was probably the way to go, so i came up with the radial bighorn.....exept for the bad stuff i read....btw, i would think that if they leak, you could just put slime in them and they would be fine....

the other tire i am thinking of is the radial outlaw.....

like i say, i just beat around, if i see a hole that is reasonable i go in, (no snorkels or over the seat stuff) i use the quad in the yard, for hunting ...you know general perpose....also, i am using the stock rims

thanks for the help....

Hi Matt! Down here in Louisiana, we get plenty of mud with some patches of dry dirt. I put a set of 27" Deestone "Swamp Witches" on my Rincon. The wheels are stock and there's no interference with anything under the fenders. They pull great in the mud and are still comfortable on hard ground. The 27 inchers did cut my speed down, but I'm not really interested in "top" speed since the majority of my riding is in the woods and under 30mph most of the time. The Swamp Witch tires are real similar to the ITP's, but less costly. There is also a significant difference in weight as compared to the stock tires. Hope that helps a little!!

I do the same ttpe of riding and I love my mud lites! The only thing you need to know is that you don't get the deep lugs untill the 26" mud lites which they consider their xl sizes. I would think that if you went with the 25" which has less tread you might get a better trail ride.
