Hello, I have a 2004 Rincon, definitely an ATV that I grew up on for 16 years and that I wanna keep working and running. I've checked the oil, and done the tire pressure checks. How do I check the transmission oil exactly??

Transmission uses the engine oil. Check the oil level by simply putting the dip stick in but not screwed in. Level is best just over the full mark.

Let your engine warm up 1st, then sit for a couple minutes while the oil returns, then do as TaH suggested above ^^ Oil to the top line. Make sure your using the correct oil as well. Honda GN4 is recommended by Honda, many of us use other oils (cheaper in price/same or better quality)

The correct oil will say MA or MA2 rated on the API seal (circle on back of jug). Viscosity depends on temperature, but typically 10W-40 summer and 10W-30 or even lighter in winter.
