U say your new to ATV, and the unit was maintained, did someone tell u that or did you actually jack it up and check each corner? Did u test the charging system (20 seconds) did u look at the prop shaft seals on the fore and aft ends of the motor for leakage? Does the rear drive shaft slip yoke move smoothly and have good non rusted splines? Brake lights the same (one dimmer than the other). Same for head lights. If they told u it was well maintained I beg you to do your due diligence. Greasy is the only word I can come up with that describes a used car/ATV salesman.

Thanks for the response. Finally looked at two Rincons. One has 12K miles...burning smell from the engine. I was thinking piston rings. The other had 3K miles...needs front bearings. I know my way around mechanically...enough to be dangerous, but by no means an expert...I rode a Rancher 420cc and 500cc...the Rincon 680 much different...smooth power delivery and rode better...I think I am set on this model, but many used Rincons for sale are well used and put away wet. Thanks for the info...
