No Power.

I'm having a problem with my '03 Rincon. What it does is run fine but then fall flat, no power. It won't shift into third gear automatically, because of the lack of speed, and has zero lowend power. It won't even spin it's tires on loose dirt.

Sometimes with will start and run great but you'll be running along and let off the throddle and then get back on it and nothing, it's like a light switch was turned off. It will idle fine and move but with no power. Some times I can get it to work correctly by shuting it down and "resetting" the computer but that only works once in a while.

It seems to act up more after playing in water but I have checked and regreased all my connections and it will still do it. It will do it when it is cold or when it is hot, it's completely random in nature.

I hate to say it but it started after I installed my Dynstek ignition system, I uninstalled it and the Rinnie ran good but now it is starting to act up again. I'm thinking my brain box was damaged by the Dynatek system or that it is simply going out.

I'm hoping that some of you can give me any ideas about what could be the problem before a buy a new brain box. Please help!

dealership called me this afternoon and told me to come pick it up. they said my carb was full of dirt and stuff. all they done was a complete disassemble and a good cleaning on the carb. the said it runs like a new one now. they told me my bowl was somewhat clean but it was the rest of the internals that was dirty. somewhere near the diaphram.

***UPDATE***

The Rincon would appear to be FIXED! I was able to ride it for the first time over the long weekend and it worked GREAT!

I would like to thank all of you for your help in figuring this out but I would really thank XCRacer416 for his assistance.

This site is great!

Note for others, check your carb for dirt!

Again thank you all!
